Search the Database

You can search the DragonflyPix database using any one of the following four criteria:

Searching on Family allows you to select all our photographs of e.g. Coenagrionidae or Aeshnidae or Libellulidae, etc.

Or you can search on Genus to find all our photographs of e.g. the Coenagrion or Gomphus or Orthetrum species, and so on.

Or you can also search on Gender to find all our photographs of male animals, or females, or copulas, or groups.

And finally, you can search on the animals' principal Colours to find all our photographs of damselflies and dragonflies with mainly black and blue colorations, or with mainly red and yellow, and so on.

For the time being you cannot combine the above search criteria into a single query. We may introduce such a feature at a later date if our database grows sufficiently to avoid regular zero-result queries.
